Ken Broomell – Tenor Sax


Ken started playing the saxophone at age 10. Fifty years later he is still playing and enjoying every moment! Through the years he has played in various concert bands, orchestras, small ensembles, rock and blues bands, and his favorite, dance and swing bands. Ken toured the US and Central and South America in the US Navy Show Band as the lead/solo tenor saxophonist.

Ken brings a laid back swing style to the Party of Nine horns and is excited to be a part of this very talented group of experienced musicians.  In addition to Party of Nine, he plays in a local town concert band and in 23 SkiDoo, a popular local Dixie Swing band.
